Description
|
This scheme aims to award 100,000
scholarships to the gifted or meritorious students whose parental income is
not more than Rs.1,50,000/- per annum from all sources. The scheme would
provide reservation to different categories of students as per the State / UT
norms.

Eligibility criteria
|
An Awardee is eligible for the
scholarship provided (1)he/she takes up studies in approved courses;
(2)maintains good conduct and continues studies as a regular student in
government/ local body/ adided school; (iii)takes up studies on whole time
basis; &(iv)does not take up a job.

How to Avail
|
By clearing Mental Ability Test
(MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) conducted at state level.
